The Practical Nursing (PN) Program is designed to prepare compassionate, skilled professionals to meet the demands of today’s healthcare system. Focused on wellness, client-centered care, and sensitivity to diverse healthcare needs, this five-semester diploma program equips students with the knowledge and hands-on training to succeed as Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).
Upon graduation, students are eligible to write the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination (CPNRE)—a requirement for licensure in Newfoundland and Labrador. The CPNRE is administered in six writing windows annually, through Meazure Learning, in partnership with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (CLPNNL).
